Melodie Gondek

Melodie Gondek has a diverse work experience. Melodie started their career at Getty Images in 2011 as a Getty Contributing Artist, specializing in custom and specialized photography. In 2013, they joined the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) as an Office Administrator and later took on the role of Outdoor Educator, teaching students digital photography and coordinating learning field trips.

In 2015, Melodie became a Corporate Applications Specialist at OCDSB, providing training and support for school and board staff on corporate systems. Melodie also participated in the development of new applications and maintained computer applications and server management.

In 2017, Melodie transitioned to the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF), starting as the Vice-President for District 25's Education Support Professional's bargaining unit. In this role, they were also involved in various committees and served as the editor and contributor to the D25 ESP newsletter. Melodie later became the President of OSSTF, District 25 in 2021.
