George Konidis

George Konidis is a seasoned professional in real estate operations and workplace transformation, currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate Operations at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since June 2021. In this role, George oversees the corporate global office portfolio and workplace experience, spearheading initiatives such as the Global Workplace Transformation and the relocation to a new Toronto headquarters scheduled for 2024. Previously, George held significant positions at CIBC, including Head of Global Real Estate Operations and Vice President of Workplace Design, where responsibilities encompassed strategic workplace design and the development of CIBC’s headquarters, CIBC Square. George’s extensive experience in architecture and real estate management is supported by a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University.
