Shannon MacCarthy

Shannon MacCarthy is an accomplished professional with expertise in organizational development, human resources, and learning and development. Currently serving as an Organizational Development and Engagement Specialist and a Learning and Development Specialist at Ontario Northland since September 2022, Shannon also operates as the Owner of Bay Events, a position held since May 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Human Resources Generalist at CTS Canada Career College, Vice-President of Student Life at Nipissing University Student Union, and various positions at Nipissing University, including Technological Assistant and Student Development Assistant. Shannon began a career in education as an Educational Assistant with Limestone District School Board. An alumnus of Nipissing University, Shannon holds an Honours Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in English and French Studies, completed between 2017 and 2023.
