Lawrence Lyons has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Lawrence started their career in the US Army in 2010, where they worked as an Assistant Intelligence Officer and later as a Brigade Assistant Intelligence Officer until 2014.
In 2015, Lawrence became a Company Commander in the US Army, where they successfully managed a 60-person organization and handled a budget of $15 million. Lawrence excelled in planning and executing training operations, as well as managing equipment installation and upgrades.
From 2016 to 2018, Lawrence served as an Assistant Operations Officer in the US Army, planning and supporting day-to-day operations for military intelligence units across multiple countries. Lawrence also led strategic initiatives that improved collection asset utilization and intelligence analysis.
Lawrence continued their career as a Project Manager in the US Army, starting in 2018 and ending in 2021. In this role, they worked on government projects valued at $6 million, optimizing operational processes and implementing best practices to elevate project award rates.
In 2021, Lawrence briefly participated in a program called BreakLine Education before joining Ontic in 2022 as a Client Success Manager. Their role at Ontic involved providing strategic consulting, education, and thought leadership for safety and security professionals. In 2023, they were promoted to Team Lead for the Client Success Manager team at Ontic.
Lawrence Lyons has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government, which they obtained from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University between 2004 and 2009. Lawrence further pursued military intelligence education, completing the Military Intelligence Basic Officers Leadership Course from 2009 to 2010 and the Military Intelligence Captains Career Course from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning from LinkedIn in 2021.
