Lucia Zuniga

Lucia Zuniga has a diverse work experience. Lucia started their career at the University of California, Davis Physics Dept. in 2009 as a Laboratory Research Assistant, where they synthesized PbSe colloidal nanowires and nanocrystals for solar cell and electroluminescence applications. Lucia then joined Nanometrics in 2010, initially working as a Quality Inspector and later as a Quality Engineer. In these roles, they conducted extensive tests on thin-film and Optical Critical Dimension metrology systems, analyzed large data sets, and assisted the engineering team in creating product specifications. Since 2016, Lucia has been working at Onto Innovation as an Operations System Engineer. Their responsibilities include providing process support to manufacturing, improving throughput, quality, and reducing costs of product manufacture through continuous process improvement. Lucia also collaborates with subject matter experts to address issues and develop corrective action processes. Additionally, they developed and performed in-house customer source inspections.

Lucia Zuniga obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Applied Physics, specializing in Material Science, from the University of California, Davis. Lucia attended the university from 2005 to 2009.
