Scott Bowdoin

Scott Bowdoin has a strong background in the semiconductor industry, with experience in various technical and managerial roles. Scott currently works at Onto Innovation as a Staff Product Characterization Engineer, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Nanometrics for 15 years, starting as a Senior Applications Engineer and eventually becoming the Technical Manager. Before joining Nanometrics, Scott worked at Soluris as an Applications Engineer from 2000 to 2005. Their early career included a role as a Test Engineer at Axcelis, where they were involved in system testing and product development for Ion Implanters and Furnace-based RTP.

Scott Bowdoin attended the University of Maine from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
