Wania Pasinato

Wania Pasinato serves as a Senior Advisor at ONU Mulheres Brasil, focusing on the elimination of violence against women and the implementation of the Maria da Penha Law, along with developing actions to prevent feminicides and providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Women since June 2023. With extensive experience as an independent consultant since February 2007, Wania has been a collaborating researcher at Núcleo de Estudos de Gênero - PAGU/UNICAMP, leading research on access to justice for women in situations of violence. Additionally, Wania has provided consulting services at WP Consultoria, Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento and worked with the Núcleo de Estudos da Violência - NEV/USP since 1988. Previous roles include a consultant position at ONU Mulheres Brasil from June 2014 to December 2016, where Wania coordinated access to justice initiatives. Wania Pasinato earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas - FFLCH/USP between 1983 and 1987.
