Michael Tischer

Michael Tischer Ph.D. is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in project management and geological consulting. Currently serving as Program Manager and Project Manager at ThinkOnward since December 2022 and as President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists since January 2024, Michael previously held significant roles including Geoscience Consultant and Instructor at On The Rocks GeoConsulting LLC, and Senior Geoscientist as an Independent Consultant. Prior positions include exploration and project management roles at NEOS GeoSolutions, Dolan Integration Group, and ExxonMobil, where expertise ranged from geologic data analysis to hydrocarbon systems integration. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from Columbia University, along with a Master's in Physics from the University at Buffalo and a Pre-Diploma in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
