Miles Sorlie

Miles Sorlie is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing backend services, primarily utilizing Elixir and Go. Currently functioning as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Senior Software Development Engineer at onXmaps, Inc. since June 2016, Miles has over five years of expertise in Elixir, focusing on the company's main production system. Prior experience includes a Software Development Intern role at Pulsara, where skills in Agile environments and API development in Ruby/Grape were honed, along with a successful Senior Capstone project involving ETL scripting and Angular Web UI development. Additional internships at Micron Technology and a role in University Catering provided a diverse skill set encompassing test automation, documentation, and teamwork. Miles holds a B.S. in Computer Science with honors and a minor in Mathematics from Montana State University-Bozeman.
