Daniel Swartz

Daniel Swartz has a diverse background in the medical and biotech industry. Daniel is currently the Director of Experimental and Clinical Research at ONY Biotech, a position they have held since January 2017. Prior to this, Daniel served as the President of Angiograft LLC, a biotech start-up company focused on tissue engineering. Daniel co-founded the company in partnership with Drs. Andreadis and Row from the University of Buffalo in October 2015. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo - School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences from January 2005 to August 2015.

Daniel Swartz obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, spanning from 1980 to 1984. Daniel further pursued their education at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physiology and Biophysics/Tissue Engineering between 1999 and 2004.
