Greg Newman

Greg Newman is an experienced professional in the oil derivatives and commodities trading sectors. Currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Onyx Capital Group since October 2018, Greg oversees multiple entities including Onyx Commodities and Onyx Capital Advisory. In addition to this role, Greg is the author of "World of Oil Derivatives," which provides insights into the complexities of financial oil markets. Prior positions include Head of Crude Oil Derivatives at Onyx Commodities and leadership roles at Mandara. Greg began the career as a Trading Process Analyst at Gazprom Marketing & Trading after interning at BNP Paribas. Greg holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Biochemical Engineering from UCL.
