Jonathan S.

Jonathan S. has a diverse work experience spanning over 19 years. Jonathan started their career in 2001 as a Systems Developer at Interactive Technologies Group, Inc. where they were responsible for developing PHP and MySQL based web applications. Jonathan then worked as a PC Technician at Action Computers, Inc., providing computer and network support to customers. In 2008, Jonathan joined TEKsystems as a Linux Support/Data Center Operator, where they provided Tier I/II support for Linux, Solaris, and AIX servers. At Northwest Parkway LLC, they served as a Systems Administrator, managing the toll road's computer systems and equipment. Jonathan administered Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and migrated aging physical Linux systems to virtual environments. In 2017, they worked as a Contractor at Tech Remedy, subcontracting with a small company to program RTI remote control systems and install Lutron lighting controls. Currently, Jonathan is employed at ONYX InSight as an Operational Infrastructure Engineer.

Jonathan S. began their education in 1998 at North Dakota State College of Science, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems in 2000. In the same year, they attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, focusing on Computer Programming. Jonathan S. also holds certifications in A+ and Network+ from CompTIA, as well as Introduction to the Linux Academy and Linux+ certifications from Linux Academy.
