Alfred Wang

Alfred Wang currently serves as General Counsel and is responsible for the legal function’s support of Onyx’s business.

Prior to joining Onyx, Alfred oversaw the North American legal function at Hartree Partners, a global commodities firm controlled by Oaktree Capital funds, where he also supported nearly all of the firm’s strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Hartree, Alfred was at Hess Corporation, where he was a core member of the deal team responsible for divesting its entire downstream business. Alfred began his legal career as a project finance attorney in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy.

Alfred received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and his JD, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
