Julie Elman

Julie Elman has been working in the design and project management field since 2009. Julie began their career as a Freelance Graphic Designer for JElmanDesign and R.A.O Contracting. In 2010, they took on the role of Graphic Design Intern at Eight Eleven, LLC and Graphic Designer at Whitmarsh House. The following year, they became a Graphic Designer/Project Manager at Konnessi and Graphic Designer at CrimsonBikes. In 2012, they took on the role of Graphic Designer at HCC Marketing, Inc. In 2014, they were hired as a Graphic Design Supervisor and Graphic Designer at Teespring. Finally, in 2016, they became a Senior Digital Project Manager at Oomph, Inc., where their duties included serving as Squad Lead for a 6 person cross-functional team, managing multiple projects, preparing technical specifications and estimates, coordinating sprint-planning, monitoring and reporting on squad velocity and budget management, conducting meetings, drafting key project documents, overseeing the implementation of WCAG accessibility standards, HIPAA compliance, security requirements, brand identity guidelines, UX best practices, etc., evaluating and introducing tools to streamline project management processes, and mentoring fellow PMs and project team members.

Julie Elman attended Hall High School from 2003 to 2006. Julie then attended Johnson & Wales University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts. Julie continued their education at Johnson & Wales University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design & New Media. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from lynda.com: Print Production Fundamentals (2013), Web Design Fundamentals (2013), and jQuery Essential Training (2012).
