Kevin Koo

Kevin Koo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kevin started their career as a Professional Snowboarder, competing in Slopestyle competitions in Japan and overseas with the support of their sponsors. Kevin then transitioned to the role of Philanthropy Chairman at Sigma Phi Epsilon, where they successfully raised funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and reported fundraising figures to relevant parties.

After that, Kevin worked as a Senator and Chief Financial Officer for the Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara, overseeing fiscal spending and budget allocation. Kevin also held the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator at The Towbes Group, where they planned online and social marketing campaigns and provided daily reporting to management.

Kevin's career in technology sales began at Optimizely, where they served as a Market Development Representative. Kevin then joined Talkdesk as an Enterprise SDR and later became a Commercial Account Executive, achieving outstanding performance and closing key deals. Kevin was also a Mid Market Account Executive for the West Team at Talkdesk, achieving the top position in closed ACV in North America.

Kevin's expertise in enterprise sales continued at Observe.AI, where they worked as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive. Kevin contributed to transforming customer experiences and improving agent performance by analyzing customer calls.

Currently, Kevin is an Account Executive at Opal, a Greylock-funded authorization platform. In this role, they are a founding sales member and plays a crucial role in enabling enterprises to grant just-in-time access, gain insights, and automate user access reviews.

Kevin Koo completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science with an Emphasis in International Relations from UC Santa Barbara, where they also participated in the Technology Management Program. In 2014, they studied Political Science and Government at Freie Universität Berlin. Prior to their university education, they attended St. Mary's International School from 2008 to 2012. Kevin also obtained the Talkdesk Administrator Course and Talkdesk Supervisor Course certifications from Talkdesk in June 2017. Kevin also completed the Technology Management Program, though the institution is not specified.
