Gianni Vilardo

Gianni Vilardo is a seasoned professional in telecommunications with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Field Manager at Open Fiber since September 2018, Gianni oversees fiber optic coverage implementation in urban centers, focusing on operational and accounting management within the Network & Operations Cluster A&B. Prior to this role, Gianni held various positions at Ericsson starting in July 2011, including Team Leader, where coordination and management of a 17-member team in Northern Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta were key responsibilities, specifically for Managed Services related to radio access networks and infrastructure maintenance for major clients. Earlier experience includes roles at Vodafone IT from July 2000 to June 2011, with responsibilities in planning and operational support, and at TESEO S.p.A. as EMC testing technician from February 1996 to June 2000. Gianni holds a Dottore degree in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni from Politecnico di Torino, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
