Rob Slater

Rob Slater currently serves as the Head of Operations and Secretariat at ON A MISSION, a Swiss non-profit focused on supporting local community-driven reforestation projects, since May 2022. In addition, Rob holds the position of Forest Project Coordinator for South Africa at Open Forest Protocol, facilitating the measurement, reporting, and verification of forestation data across various stakeholders. Rob is also a Personal, Executive, and Leadership Coach with ProLink Coaching, dedicated to fostering positive impacts in leadership and organizations. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant and Recruitment Consultant at AltGen, National Coastal Coordinator at WESSA, Kenilworth Conservation Area Manager at Nature Connect, and a Biodiversity Intern at the City of Cape Town. Rob holds multiple degrees, including a BSc Honours in Environmental Management and various qualifications in Nature Conservation, complemented by a life coaching certification.
