Jacob Ortega

Jacob Ortega currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Men's Basketball at High Point University, having begun this role in August 2023. In conjunction with this position, Jacob is a Tournament/Content Manager for Open Gym Premier, responsible for sales and event operations while fostering basketball relationships on the West Coast since April 2023. Previously, Jacob worked as a Student Manager for the University of Oregon Athletic Department from November 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included supporting Men's Basketball Operations and leading a team of student managers. Jacob's earlier experience includes serving as an Operations Assistant for Open Gym Premier from July 2016 to December 2019, focusing on content creation and social media engagement for basketball events. Jacob holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Business Analytics from High Point University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
