Keren Rowaro

Keren Rowaro is a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker currently working with Open Minds since January 2023, focusing on supporting individuals affected by the 2022 Lismore floods through collaboration with the Northern New South Wales Local Health District Disaster Recovery Team. Prior experience includes a role as a Social Worker at headspace, where Keren worked with young people, conducting bio-psycho-social assessments. Keren also served as a Social Worker with Brisbane City Council, facilitating community projects and ensuring compliance with legislation, and contributed to the Children of Parents with Mental Illness program at Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Keren holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Australian Catholic University and a Diploma in Family and Community Services from TAFE Queensland.
