Maxim S.

Maxim S. has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Maxim began their career in 1998 at Bank Ukraina in various roles. In 2005, they moved to GarantiBank International NV, where they worked as a Senior Credit Officer and Relationship Manager Trade & Commodity Finance. In 2010, they joined GE Artesia Bank as a Senior Credit Risk Manager TCF. In 2013, they were appointed as the Head of CTF at Sberbank CIB. In 2015, they were named Regional Head, Commodities Transaction Management Unit, Europe & Americas at Standard Chartered Bank. In 2018, they joined Zurich-based bank as an Advisor to the CEO/CBO, consulting on various governance matters. Also in 2018, they joined Beringfield AG as the Managing Director, Member of the Board of Directors, leveraging existing banking relationships and providing structured trade credit solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Head of Refined and Ferrous Metals at Open Mineral.

Maxim S. studied at Maastricht University from 2001 to 2005, where they received an MSc in Economics. Prior to that, they attended Odessa State Economics University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Master in Finance and Credit.
