Karmen Čondić-Jurkić currently serves as the Executive Director of the Open Molecular Software Foundation and Project Manager at the Open Force Field Initiative, roles focused on advancing open software infrastructure and datasets for molecular mechanics force fields. With prior experience as an Independent Researcher at MDbox and a Postdoctoral Researcher at both the Australian National University and The University of Queensland, Karmen has developed cloud-based solutions and conducted simulations related to drug resistance and multidrug transport. Additional contributions include participation in entrepreneurial initiatives like Startup Catalyst and ON Prime, aimed at fostering innovation and networking within the Australian startup ecosystem. Karmen holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biophysics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Zagreb.
