Amanda Shaffer

Amanda Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amanda worked at Open Road Integrated Media Inc. from 2014 to present, starting as a Marketing Design Associate and then progressing to Junior Designer and eventually Senior Designer. Their responsibilities included designing book covers, overseeing interns, setting up print cover mechanicals and galleys, creating back ads, and participating in interdepartmental meetings. Prior to that, Amanda worked at Homerica East as a Marketing Coordinator, where they managed customer service and implemented procedural changes to improve business operations. Amanda also served as a Foundation Drawing Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University and worked as an Arcade Redemption Counter Attendant at Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach.

Amanda Shaffer earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration from Syracuse University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Prior to their university education, they obtained a High School Diploma from Princeton High School between 2005 and 2009. In 2004, they also attended the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY) from 2004 to 2007, although no specific degree or field of study is indicated for this particular program.
