Elga Suarez

Elga Suarez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and information technology. Currently serving as a Senior HR Officer and HRIS Manager at Open Society Foundations since May 2016, Elga previously held the role of Senior Managing Director of IT Solutions & Delivery at Teach For America from February 2009 to April 2016. In this position, Elga managed the Corporate Systems Business Analyst team and facilitated the implementation of various Workday modules. Prior to Teach For America, Elga worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. from February 1986 to June 2008 as a Vice President and Project Manager in IT, focusing on HR support. Elga holds an MBA in Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fordham University.
