Laleh Ispahani

Laleh Ispahani is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in human rights and social justice advocacy. Since November 2008, Laleh has held multiple leadership roles at Open Society Foundations, including Managing Director, Executive Director, and Co-Director. Prior to this, Laleh served as Senior Policy Counsel at the ACLU from February 2003 to November 2008, focusing on racial justice and human rights, with efforts aimed at reversing felony disenfranchisement policies through litigation and advocacy. Laleh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from Harvard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
