Melissa K. Miller

Melissa K. Miller, Ph.D., serves as a UCVS Mathematics Teacher at Union County Public Schools since August 2024. With extensive experience in mathematics education, Melissa has held various leadership roles at Open Up Resources since 2021, including Teacher Leader in Residence for Math Asynchronous Courses and Math Professional Learning, as well as curriculum design and review roles for multiple K-12 math projects. Prior to that, Melissa was a Certified Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Union County Public Schools from August 2017 to June 2024 and has a history of private tutoring and teaching at various educational institutions dating back to 2004. Melissa holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and has completed advanced degrees in education and graphic arts.
