Tom Loschiavo

Tom Loschiavo has a diverse work experience in the field of education, primarily focusing on product management and curriculum development. Tom currently serves as the Director of Product at Open Up Resources, where they lead the execution of product strategy and monitors the impact and quality of curriculum products and services. Prior to this role, they worked at Great Minds as the Director of Product Management, Science, managing all products in the PhD Science portfolio and creating product strategies aligned with business objectives. Tom also served as a Product Manager, Science at Great Minds, guiding the development and launch of curriculum materials. Tom has also worked at PASCO scientific as an Education/Product Manager, where they identified and developed STEM products to meet the needs of educators and students. Tom has experience as a Chemistry teacher at Moorestown High School, Hamilton High School, and Holy Ghost Prep, where they designed and implemented curriculum, integrated technology, and conducted laboratory experiments.

Tom Loschiavo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey in 1996. Tom then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tom has also obtained various certifications in areas such as operations management, process improvement, agile project leadership, and executive leadership from LinkedIn. Tom has attended the ASU+GSV Summit in 2023 and completed a course on Foundations of Accessible Elearning. Furthermore, they have completed several LinkedIn courses including Google Universal Analytics Essential Training (2020), Agile: It's Not Just for Software, Leading Strategically, and Product Management: Building a Product Strategy.
