Matthew Castle has diverse professional experience in law and accounting. Matthew has expertise in commercial law, intellectual property law, and corporate finance. Matthew has worked for prestigious law firms such as Sullivan & Cromwell and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where they advised clients on IP, M&A transactions, and corporate financing. Additionally, they worked for companies like Amazon, Marvel Entertainment, and OpenAI as a corporate counsel, senior corporate counsel, and senior commercial counsel, respectively. Matthew Castle began their career as a summer staff accountant at EY, where they gained experience in accounting and finance.

Matthew Castle completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in Accounting from Haskayne School of Business in 2011. Matthew then went on to attend Columbia Law School from 2011 to 2014, where they received a Juris Doctor degree in Law. During the same period, they also pursued a Global Alliance Program in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford.
