Y Joy Jiao

Y. Joy Jiao has a PhD from Harvard University and has worked in various companies throughout their career. Y. Joy has experience as a Research Engineer at OpenAI, a Software Engineer at Google and Quora, and an Instructor at the Art of Problem Solving. Y. Joy has also worked as a Merck Engineering and Technology Fellow and Vaccine Process Development Intern at Merck & Co. Additionally, Jiao has worked as a Researcher at Shriners Hospital for Children and the University of Miami. At MIT, they were a researcher for two roles, including the Synthetic Biology project and the 2010 International Genetically Engineered Machines competition.

Y. Joy Jiao completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012. Y. Joy later attended Harvard University from 2012 to 2017 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Systems Biology.
