Sami Afifi

Sami Afifi's work experience includes their role as an IT Project Manager at OpenCampus® starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TUM Graduate School from September 2017 to August 2021, where they served as a Science Manager (IT & Digitalization). In that role, they led the IT project 'DocGS' – the doctoral administration platform of the Technical University of Munich – in collaboration with an external software development company. Their responsibilities included ensuring the platform's compliance with internal and external legal guidelines and requirements.

Sami Afifi has a comprehensive education history in the field of Information Systems. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the Technical University of Munich and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from the same university. Before pursuing higher education, from 2005 to 2008, Sami studied Business Administration and Management at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice and in Scrum Master I from Scrum.org.
