Gavin Macphail

Gavin Macphail is the Chief Executive Officer at Opencasa, a tech and data enabled U.S. real estate company. Gavin joined Opencasa in May 2021. Prior to this, Gavin worked at JLL for over 12 years, where they held the position of Executive Vice President. Gavin specialized in corporate tenant representation, commercial real estate, corporate relocations, and contract negotiation. Gavin's experience also includes working as a Senior Associate at The Staubach Company and as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor at Holly Real Estate, Inc. Gavin co-founded and served as the General Manager of Intercontinental Seafood Exportadora, Ltda. from 1998 to 2001.

Gavin Macphail attended Groton School from 1987 to 1991, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Gavin then enrolled at Hamilton College from 1991 to 1996 and graduated with a B.A. degree. At Hamilton College, Gavin Macphail studied Spanish and Political Science.
