Lina Abassi

Lina Abassi has worked in a variety of roles in the past few years. Lina began their career in 2014 as a Graduate Trainee at Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas (STEG). In 2018, they took on the role of Research and Teaching Assistant at Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis. In 2019, they moved on to become a Data Analyst at Hubnet Express. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Research and Development Engineer - Data Science at Opencell.

Lina Abassi has an extensive education history. Lina obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Data Science from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Intelligence from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Carthage between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Computing from the same institution between 2011 and 2014. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including the Introduction to Machine Learning with Tensorflow Nanodegree from Udacity in October 2022, the Machine Learning with Python certification from Sololearn in March 2022, the IBM Applied Data Science Specialization and IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera in February 2022, the Data Visualization with Python, Data Analysis with Python, and Databases and SQL for Data Science with Python certifications from Coursera in December 2021, the Python for Data Science certification from Sololearn in October 2021, the Machine Learning with Python certification from Coursera in March 2021, the Python for Data Science and AI certification from Coursera in February 2021, the Data Science Orientation and What is Data Science? certifications from Coursera in December 2020.
