Jon Franklin Horbaly

Mr. Horbaly has 15 years of experience in business and innovation. He also has extensive experience in finance and accounting. As a member of KPMG’s financial advisory practice, Jon advised bulge bracket Wall Street Banks on asset management, valuation, and corporate finance matters.

Since 2003, he has served as CEO of two companies. In 2011, Mr. Horbaly launched Oxford nanoSystems LTD (OnS) in Oxford, England. As a start-up, OnS created, developed, and patented technology resulting in world-leading nanocoatings which rapidly improves heat transfer rates for a wide-range of appliances, surfaces, and industrial applications. As a partner and former CEO of OnS, based at the European Space Agency in Harwell, England, Jon has a thorough understanding of, first-hand experience with, and strong connections to the science, materials, and technology sector.

In 2014, Mr. Horbaly left OnS to join the well-rounded and accomplished team of professionals at Altitude Medical Inc. to lead the Company’s Operations and Finance departments.

During the last decade, Jon has advised many entrepreneurs, mentored numerous start-ups, and conducted business in over 30 countries. Mr. Horbaly holds a M.B.A. from Oxford University and B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the College of William & Mary..
