Matt Scott

Matt Scott is a seasoned professional in the film and media industry, currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer at OpenDrives, focusing on media and entertainment workflows. With a long-standing academic role as a Professor of Giant Screen Filmmaking at the University of Southern California, Matt has developed specialized courses in IMAX filmmaking and established the Giant Screen Curriculum. Previous experiences include working as a Senior Presales and Solutions Architect at GB Labs, where Matt supported sales and collaborated on media workflow designs, and serving as the Director of Post Production at OZY Media, where strategic roadmaps for scalable post departments were established. Additional expertise encompasses various roles at IMAX, including D.I.T & Post Consultant and Editorial Supervisor for notable projects. Matt holds a B.A. in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California.
