Adam Green has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Adam most recently worked as an Application Scientist at OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences since July 2021. Prior to that, from October 2019 to July 2021, they held the position of Field Application Scientist at BIOVIA. In this role, they promoted and demonstrated BIOVIA's collaborative science solutions to potential customers, provided support to existing customers, and collaborated with the R&D team to improve software solutions.
Before their time at BIOVIA, Green worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from August 2016 to October 2019. Adam also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee from August 2014 to August 2016. Prior to their graduate studies, Green worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wake Forest University from January 2013 to July 2014. Adam also served as an Administrative Assistant at Wake Forest University's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs from August 2010 to May 2011.
Adam Green completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Chemistry at Wake Forest University from 2010 to 2014. Adam then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Life Sciences with a specialization in Computational Molecular Biophysics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, in November 2017, they obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera.
