Jonathan Brierley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Experience Officer at OpenFin since March 2022. Previously, they held the position of Council Member and Trustee at the Architectural Association from January 2020.
Before that, Jonathan worked at Coutts as the Executive Director and Head of Digital Experience and Design, where they led the digital channel and pioneered innovative experiences for wealth management clients from October 2018 to March 2022. Jonathan also served as the Head of User Experience, Design, & Innovation at Deutsche Asset Management from June 2016 to October 2018, overseeing the development of a talented team and contributing to the firm's digital offerings.
Prior to that, Jonathan held the position of Head of User Experience at Improbable, a technology startup focused on transforming industries, from October 2014 to June 2016. Jonathan also acted as the Head of User Experience at J.P. Morgan from September 2013 to October 2014.
Jonathan's earlier experiences include working at RMA Consulting, an NTT Data Company, as a Senior Interaction Designer, where they had the opportunity to work directly with users and business owners on the UBS Neo project. Jonathan also served as a User Experience Designer at Aviva, where they worked on several projects, including the Aviva Customer portal and the Adviser channel website.
Jonathan's career started at Ribot, where they worked as a UCD (User-Centered Design) specialist, contributing to the development of mobile apps and interfaces for companies like Tesco.
Throughout their career, Jonathan has demonstrated a strong focus on user experience, design, and innovation, contributing to the growth and success of various organizations.
Jonathan Brierley has a BA (Hons) degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex. Before that, they attended Peter Symonds College, where they studied Information Systems, Psychology, Physics, and Law. In 2020 and 2021, Jonathan participated in the Sustainability Leadership Programme at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Sustainability Studies.
