Omkar Sabane

Omkar Sabane has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Omkar is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at OpenGov Inc., a US-based company that creates software for governments. In this role, Omkar is involved in understanding legacy code and converting it into Java-based APIs. Omkar also engages in requirement analysis and client discussions.

Prior to their current role, Omkar worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Xoriant from 2020 to 2022. Here, they also focused on converting legacy code into Java-based APIs for a US-based client in the government sector. Omkar collaborated with the client and conducted requirement analysis.

From 2019 to 2020, Omkar served as the Lead - Research and Development at Blue Logic Digital. In this position, they facilitated communication between in-house software teams, clients, and stakeholders. Omkar incorporated industry-standard designs into the existing codebase and collaborated with clients throughout the project.

Before that, Omkar was a Senior Software Engineer at GS Lab from 2015 to 2019. Omkar worked with a US-based client in the finance domain and collaborated with various stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Omkar began their career as a Software Associate at Synechrn in 2012. Here, they worked with an Australian-based client in the women's fashion industry and developed a system to assist them with performing CRUD operations through UI.

Omkar Sabane began their education in 2006 at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Diploma in Computer Science. Omkar successfully completed their diploma program in 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2012, they attended PVPIT in Pune to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science.
