Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez

Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in cybersecurity and digital identity services. Currently serving as the Head of Software for Cross-Cutting Enablers and Metaverse at both Telefónica Innovación Digital and Telefonica, Gonzalo has held multiple senior positions within Telefónica, including CTO at ElevenPaths and Head of Cloud and Cybersecurity Software Engineering at Telefónica Tech. With over two decades in the industry, Gonzalo has contributed significantly to various initiatives, including the MODRNA working group at the OpenID Foundation. Educationally, Gonzalo holds Engineer's Degrees in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo and Universidad de Valladolid.
