Meet Soni

Meet Soni is a Machine Learning Consultant at Stony Brook School of Health Professions and an Open Source Developer at ByteDance, focusing on open-world video segmentation and associated workflows. Additionally, Meet serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for two courses at Stony Brook University, managing academic support and grading responsibilities. Previously, Meet was a Software Engineer at Openleaf, leading significant projects in pricing function development and Text-to-SQL features, and at GE Healthcare, contributing to microservices for medical devices. Early career experience includes an internship at Merkle, where CNN-based image segmentation algorithms were implemented. Meet holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.
