Sophea Seng has a diverse work experience starting in 2002, where they worked as a System Administrator and Warehouse Controller at Kong Veng Heng Co. Ltd. Sophea was responsible for gathering system requirements, supporting the medical products contribution system, and monitoring inventory and sales transactions.
In 2007, they joined the Centre for Content Creation as a Senior Manager, System Development. Their role involved leading support and engineering teams in the development and deployment of new applications and enhancements. Sophea also provided full development life cycle services and managed the implementation process.
In 2016, Sophea became a Senior Project Manager at OpenLearning Limited. Sophea then progressed to the role of Senior Operations Manager, where they worked closely with the Learning Services and Customer Success teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery. Sophea also managed clients' requirements and expectations and oversaw office operations and talent recruitment at the Kuala Lumpur office.
Currently, Sophea is the Head of Operations at OpenLearning Limited. Their responsibilities include establishing and managing budget and planning processes, evaluating and managing operational efficiency, and overseeing technical operations for the regional headquarters.
Additionally, Sophea has been a member of the International Project Management Association (Malaysia) since 2017.
Sophea Seng obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Emotional Intelligence from Soft Skills Malaysia in November 2015, Train the Trainer from IRS Training Sdn Bhd in September 2015, Personal Data Protection Act 2010 from iTraining Expert Global PLT in May 2015, Project Management from EC-Council in December 2013, Project Management in IT Security from EC-Council in September 2013, Microsoft .NET Fundamental Training from Iverson Associates in April 2009, and PHP with MAP Workshop from Multimedia University in November 2006.
