Joe Janicek

Joe Janicek has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Joe is currently a Senior Backend Engineer at Openly, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, Joe worked at Moss Corporation from 2015 to 2023. In their role as a Senior Software Engineer at Moss Corporation, they collaborated with stakeholders to scope new projects, refactored existing code, and developed features in various languages. Joe also worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Moss Corporation from 2015 to 2018, where they assisted in debugging and developing projects, completed integrations, and designed a configurable call transfer platform. Before joining Moss Corporation, Joe worked at First Solar as an MES Developer Specialist from 2013 to 2015, and as an MES Developer Intern from 2012 to 2013.

Joe Janicek began their education journey in 2008 at Cuyahoga Community College, where they pursued an undecided field of study. Joe then transferred to Lorain County Community College in 2009, also in pursuit of an undecided degree. Finally, from 2010 to 2013, Joe attended The University of Toledo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
