Penn Chou

Penn Chou has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as VP of Insurance Product Research at Openly. Prior to that, they worked at DraftKings, Inc. as a Senior Analytics Manager from 2018 to 2020. At Liberty Mutual Insurance, Penn held several roles, including Director II of Advanced Analytics from 2015 to 2018, where they built and led a data science team. They also served as an Actuary, leading a team responsible for pricing Commercial Auto Business from 2014 to 2015, and as an Assistant Actuary, specializing in Workers' Compensation Pricing from 2011 to 2014. In their initial role at Liberty Mutual in 2009, Penn was an Actuarial Analyst, focusing on Personal Auto Strategic Research. They had previous internship experience at Liberty Mutual in Finance and Actuarial roles in 2008 and 2007 respectively.

Penn Chou attended the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained dual degrees in Actuarial Mathematics and Business.
