Volunteer - Homomorphic Encryption & Private Set Intersection at OpenMined

Nick Angelou is a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and information security. Currently volunteering in homomorphic encryption and private set intersection at OpenMined since April 2020, Nick previously worked at Panther from June 2020 to August 2023, contributing to core services, observability and performance, and core platform initiatives. As Vice President and Head of Portfolio Selection at International Accelerator from January 2019 to January 2020, Nick demonstrated leadership in strategic decision-making. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Restream, Inc. from April 2017 to January 2019, and as a Software Application Engineer at Texas Instruments from July 2011 to March 2014. Early career development included an internship at Intel Corporation as a Product Development Engineer and research at The University of Texas at Austin focused on graphene semiconductors. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2011.
