Yash Gorana

Yash Gorana is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Engineering Lead - Asia at OpenMined since April 2023, where collaboration on building PySyft takes place. Previously, Yash served as Research Lead & Manager at Equitech Futures from May 2021 to September 2023, focusing on AI research leadership. Yash has a background at NVIDIA, having held roles as Systems Software Engineer II and Systems Software Engineer from June 2017 to April 2021, contributing to GeForce NOW and GeForce Experience. Yash started at NVIDIA as a Research Intern from June 2016 to March 2017, where significant contributions included developing an ML model for optimal graphic settings and a search engine for GeForce software products. Yash holds an NDO in Systems from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology.
