Tyler Wakstein

Tyler Wakstein is Co-founder and CEO of OpenNest Labs. He has over 12 years of community building and business development experience and is passionate about using business as a tool to drive positive social change. Tyler is an active Angel investor and previously was Managing Curator at Summit Series, a globally recognized event series for today’s brightest leaders. When the United States Farm Bill was passed in 2018, Tyler saw an opportunity to create positive social outcomes within an emerging global industry by focusing on hemp and cannabis; specifically, creating an infrastructure to incubate and accelerate a portfolio of cannabis brands. Tyler’s passion is to destigmatize the plant through science and research. Drawing from this experience, Tyler also Co-founded Trailblazers, a community of industry leaders within the cannabis and hemp space. Tyler is dedicated to using his resources and network to drive impact as a board member of The Life is Good Kids Foundation and Wholistic Research and Education Foundation.
