Tom Burt

Tom Burt has over 6 years of work experience in the financial industry. Tom is currently employed at OpenPayd as the UK MLRO & Head of AML Compliance (Deputy MLRO Malta), a role they began in September 2022. Prior to this, Tom served as the AML Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO at OpenPayd from June 2021 to September 2022. Before joining OpenPayd, they worked as a Senior Compliance Analyst (AML, KYC, Financial Crime) from May 2020 to June 2021 and as a Compliance Analyst (AML, KYC, Financial Crime) from May 2018 to May 2020. Prior to joining OpenPayd, Tom worked at Deloitte as a Subject Matter Expert and QA from January 2016 to May 2018. Tom also gained experience at Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Regulated Complaints Handler from July 2015 to January 2016 and at Capita as a Regulated Complaints Handler (PPI) from April 2015 to July 2015.

Tom Burt attended The University of Huddersfield from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business.
