Ian Jones

Ian Jones has a diverse work experience in technology and development roles. Ian is currently the Head of Technology at OpenPlay since May 2023. Previously, they worked as the Director of Technology at xMoney.com (formerly Utrust) from September 2022 to March 2023, where they drove the technology and development of their cryptocurrency payment platform. Before that, Ian was the Product Director and Solutions Director at Equiniti from 2019 to 2022, where they managed the global payments platform and led technical architecture and development for EQ Data products and services. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager - PLM & Projects at Amulet Hotkey, leading the design and development of virtual workstations. Ian also held leadership positions at Landmark Information Group, where they served as the Head of Development and Product Development Manager, and at GE and Radstone Technology, where they held various software and firmware engineering roles.

Ian Jones attended Swansea Institute of Higher Education from 1996 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Automotive Electronics Engineering.
