Marius Kintel

Marius Kintel is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in both leadership and software development. Currently employed at Google as a Software Engineer since January 2020, Marius also serves as the lead developer and maintainer of OpenSCAD, a prominent Free Software 3D solid modeling tool. Prior roles include positions at Untether AI and North, where Marius contributed to software engineering and community leadership, focusing on team development and manufacturing automation. Marius founded and operated Shapefactory, handling market research and business development, and worked as an independent software consultant for various clients. Marius's career began at Systems in Motion AS, and earlier experience includes management and engineering roles at Kongsberg SIM and MakerBot®. Marius holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
