Roger A. Avats

Roger A. Avats has a long and varied career, beginning with a role as Lieutenant in the US Navy from 1988 to 1993. Roger A. then served as CEO of Code Crafters, Inc. from 1993 to 1997. From 1997 to 2011, they were Chairman, CEO, and Co Founder of GMT Corporation. After that, they were Principal at JLC Holdings from 2011 to 2016. Most recently, they have been Founder and CEO of OpenSimSim Inc. since 2016.

Roger A. Avats attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School from 1977 to 1981 and obtained a High School Diploma in College Prep. Roger A. then attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1988 and obtained a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Computer Science. Finally, they attended Harvard Business School from 2011 to 2013.
