Wenbo Zong

At Openspace, Wenbo focuses on helping our portfolio companies with their technology and engineering needs. He also plays a vital role in evaluating new investment opportunities from this expert perspective.

He has 10+ years of technical development experience, particularly in the area of audio signal processing and distributed systems. Previously, he was with Sea (formerly Garena) as a tech lead, where he worked on various interesting projects such as distributed image servers, big data processing and a few Instant Messaging builds. Prior roles also include time at STMicoelectronics, where he designed over a dozen audio processing algorithms and was the principal inventor of four patented algorithms.

Wenbo holds Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering degrees from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
