Shawn Koop

Shawn Koop has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Shawn currently holds the position of Sr. Design Manufacturing Engineer at Opentrons Labworks Inc., which they started in 2021. Before that, they worked at Stratasys, where they held several roles, including Continuation Engineering Manager from June 2020 to April 2021, Machine Shop Manager from October 2018 to June 2020, and Principal Mechanical Designer from April 2012 to June 2020. Prior to their time at Stratasys, Shawn worked as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Datacard from September 2010 to April 2012.

Shawn Koop attended St. Cloud State University from 1992 to 1995, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Following that, from 1995 to 1997, they attended Dunwoody College of Technology and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Machine Tool Technology.
